This pond netting cover helps reduce maintenance of the pond (leaves and other debris can effect the water quality) and improve filter performance by reducing the amount of debris that enters the filter.

The koi pond netting can be removed after all the leaves have fallen, other heron deterrents such as a decoys or barrier system around the edge can then be used to deter unwanted pond visitors.

Raise the koi pond netting from the ground a few inches or place a clay pipe under the netting to allow smaller wildlife, such as toads & frogs, to enter and leave the pond while preventing predators and debris from entering.
