Heron deterrents

We have a selection of Heron deterrents available to suit your needs. All suitable to help protect your pond fish from predatory Heron.

You can use each solution on their own or combine them to help improve your ponds security.

Comprising of:

• Blue Heron decoy
• Brilliant Pyramid Heron deterrents
• Heron stop

The Blue Heron decoy works on the principle that Blue Herons are territorial so if there is already a fake Heron by your pond the real pest will leave it alone. Move the decoy around every few days to help keep the illusion that it is real.

The Brilliant Pyramid floats on the water surface and reflects the daylight. This sparkling effect scares your herons away - one of the cheapest heron deterrents.

The Heron stop does just that. Herons are likely to land beside your pond so this makes it harder for them to get to your fish by creating a barrier around the pond.The included bells also help to scare the herons away as they touch the heron stop line around your pond.

As well as using Heron deterrents you can protect your fish further by using pond cover netting. This is probably the best deterrent if you will be away from your pond for an extended period.
