API Aquatic Planting Media Substrate 10 lb., API Pond Aquatic Plant Media substrate is potting soil for pond plants. This product features a unique blend of Arcillite and Zeolite and does not cloud water, and provides the plants in your aquatic world with a solid foundation. Directions for use: Add about 3 inches of pre-soaked Aquatic plant media into bottom of pot or basket. Arrange the plant roots into the pot and gently cover roots with plant media and fill the pot to about 1 inch from the rim. Top off with stones. Slowly lower the pot into the pond.

Pondtabbs Aquatic Pond Plant Food, 20 Count. Water soluble tablets combine controlled nitrogen release with rapid nutrient availability in a form which provides optimum feeding for all of your aquatic plants. When used as directed this product will not effect algae growth or have any negative effect on fish. It is recommended that you feed your plants monthly during the growing season at a rate of one tablet per gallon of soil. When the water temperature rises above 72 degrees feeding should be increased to every two weeks. Insert the PONDTABBS® with your finger deep into the soil three inches from the crown of the plant. When using multiple tablets, space the uniformly around the plant. Nutrients will release within five minutes. Use 1-tab per-gallon of soil, per month.
